vermints

i’m on my third tin of these little lovelies, so i thought i’d introduce them to those of you who haven’t yet had the pleasure.

behold, chai pastilles! vermints is a company i had never heard of until i stumbled across their various mints in a favorite market of mine. they have five flavors: chai, wintermint, gingermint, peppermint, and cafe express (coffee). naturally i snapped up the chai tin as soon as i saw it, and they’re awesome! not particularly minty (probably why they call them pastilles rather than mints), but awesome.

i have since bought the peppermint and the gingermint–they are both pretty strong (at least to me!). they’re similar to altoids, but you know, without the hooves and tendons.

  1. i wonder what the difference is between wintermint and peppermint? i hate how companies use made-up flavors like wintermint. what the heck is that supposed to mean? anyway, glad you found something you like. i’ll keep an eye out for them now. 🙂

  1. Hee hee. Anything w/out gelatin or other animal ingredients is a friend of mine. Thanx for this minty intro. I might try ’em!

  2. The Wintermint is really wimpy, but I adore the Spearmint. There aren’t many places that sell them in my neck o’ the woods, so I must order them from Amazon 😦
