feeding other people

well, i needn’t have worried so much about bringing breakfast to the meeting today–the treats were a hit! everyone loved everything, and they all said nice things. i always get paranoid when people eat food that i’ve prepared, because even though i enjoy baking (and i’m learning–very, very slowly–to enjoy cooking), i don’t do it a whole heck of a lot. hence, i get paranoid that i will screw everything up.

anyway, i made one person’s day who loves pumpkin and hadn’t had any good pumpkin stuff in awhile. and one of my favorite compliments was the incredibly sweet and sincere, "this is how scones are supposed to taste." yay! oh, and there was no Emergency Backup "Real Food." whew! embarrassment averted.
