congrats, but we’ll miss you

today our Very Favorite Vet Tech told us the “exciting” (for her) news that she got a new job. booooooo!! i mean of course i’m happy for her, but i’m actually very sad for myself, because she’s awesome and i love her. she has been with finley during some of his rough spots, and she adores him (and avery and maia too, of course!). i always feel extra-happy when she’s our vet tech, and now i’m all bummed. poor me. she was very cute, though–when she told us, she said that we have to be sure to email pictures of finley and keep her posted. aw.

speaking of little finner, we treated him for what appeared to be “the beginning of a UTI” with a two-week course of antibiotics that ended last night. today on his re-check, his urine actually looked a little worse instead of better. argh! so now we have to figure out what’s going on, which means more tests, more waiting, and super-stress for me. that poor little kitten has been through his share of health crap, and he’s such an awesome little peanut, i want him to be exempt for the rest of our lives, seriously. please keep the good vibes engaged!
