holy crap, you guys. i'm going into my fifth thanksgiving as a vegan, and (as i've whined about several times before) i was dreading going to family thanksgiving again, especially because on my mom's side it's always awkward and frustrating. but last night, due to a number of family circumstances, something crazy happened: i found myself in the position of offering to host an entirely vegan meal at our house. and they accepted! my husband is an awesome chef and generous person, and i'm totally psyched.
we're going to do thanksgiving, lasagna-style, and i'll be baking a couple of things for dessert… probably something pumpkin and something chocolate. i have to say, i'm a little surprised that everyone went for this option, but it's always nice to be pleasantly surprised. i am seriously so excited.
