chana masala needed!

okay y'all, i have a cupboard full of chickpeas and a serious craving for chana masala. i love it, but i've never made it myself, so i am at your mercy: what is your favorite go-to chana masala recipe?



  1. I don’t have a lot of Indian spices but I got a spice mix by MDH from our local grocery, for Chana Masala. It’s got a lot of spices in it, and we’ve barely used any of it, so I’m guessing it might be more cost-effective than stocking up on all the individual spices separately, if you don’t make Indian food all the time. (There’s a recipe on the box, but we used less spice and a lot of coconut milk and water instead of just water, so it would be creamier and less spicy.)
